My mind is already in February and thinking about Valentine's Day. So bouncing around in the old noggin are lots of hearts, swirls, scalloped circles, pinks and reds, glitter, sparkles and love.
I will be at the Jenkins Estate's Chocolate Fantasy event this year (February 13th) as a vendor, so I am getting ready now. It's a lovely event centered around Valentine's Day gifts and chocolate, and it's simply wonderful. I have gone to the event a handful of times, but never as a vendor, so I am starting now so I don't get too overwhelmed come February.
I made these heart gift tags last night and fell in love with them. You can find them in lemon drop's shop if you want to snag a few.
I just posted these sweet little beauties in my etsy shop this morning. How cute are they?! I love the sweet little birds, the fun bunnies, the onesies hanging to dry on the clothesline - it's all so fun. I totally envision these tags being used to go with a baby shower favor, or on gifts to new parents, or even to be used as price tags on baby goodies in other shops. I just think they are too precious to pass up.
I have been working on all sorts of different gift tags and have been loving it! It's so much fun, but I think I like it because I love wrapping gifts or adding fun tags and such on to items like flowers or wine bottles, I just think it's cute. Don't harass me about this. Thanks.
Here's a few gift tags I have completed today. And while I was making them I thought how fun it would be to make them in to place-settings or name-plates for fun parties, or even to label the foods and drinks. Fun, right?! So if that is something that tickles your fancy (I love saying that!), then just let me know and I won't put the holes in the end like I do with the tags... this is so cool, I am still in shock over my new idea.
PSSST: Gift tags are made with a heavier weight card stock, so they aren't all flimsy. Also, they are blank on the backside, giving you lots of room to express yourself or doodle. It's not my job to tell you what to do, unless you want me to. Anyway...

The solution to all these potentially awkward situations is gift tags!I have been making fun gift tags this weekend and hope that you guys think they're as exciting as I do! They make any gift look great - and make me want to go out and give presents to strangers, just so I can use some. Is that weird?!
Gift tags can be purchased in sets of 5, for $4. All gift tags have ribbon (in fun, neat and awesome coordinating colors!!) for easy attachment. Write a sweet little sentiment on the back and voila... you're gift is lookin' good!

These little ladies [pictured above] are fun with a capital 'F', yes they are. Cute pinks and greens to make a fun paisley pattern, with cute black ribbon couldn't get more glamorous. Nice curvy shape (the tag, not you!, unless it applies, but that's not the point...), fun to add to any gift, and these colors are CUTE!!
These little ones have a similar story to the first bunch that you saw, but with a different shape, and coordinating green ribbon. Feeling a bit more sassy... these tags are the way to go, and the green is perfect for spring. Cute tags for any birthday, shower gift, Easter, graduation, or even a 'Just Because' gift. It's been a long time since I've received one of those (ahem, hint, hint, hint! Throw a gift tag on the sucker and I'll forgive ya!)
Not fun enough for you yet? Well try these babies out! These all come from the same patterned paper, but each card is going to look a little bit different, depending on where on the paper they came from. Cute colors of pinks, blues, browns and more create fun dots and flower designs. I have 3 sets worth of these puppies (15 total, if you're not a math whiz). I got a little wild with the ribbon on these, so some have lavender, some have pink and others have brown, and they are SO STINKIN' CUTE (Okay, I'll calm down now)! Perfect to go on any fun, or boring, gift. Give 'em a home and make them yours!
